Party Animal

Hope you had a very merry Christmas with lots of yummy food, presents and cosy moments with your friends and families.

But how inconvenient is it that straight after days of endless lazying around and eating your weight in delicious Christmas food we need to squeeze into that fab dress or outfit for New Year's Eve party that somehow looked and fitted a little bit better just a week ago :)

Starting today I will post different party outfit that hopefully will give you some ideas on what to wear to New Year's Eve party or any party in the carnival.

Today's outfit is a dress that ticks all the boxes for me - leopard print, very forgiving cut, lots of draped fabric, hidden shoulders. The only  problem is the lenght - it's so short that I can only wear it with black opaque tight (80 DEN at least) and only to party in a heavily dimmed room :)

Grey matter

Here's the thing - I don't do sportswear. I might have wore trainers on the street once (and I was in high school). It just doesn't feel right. Bedsides, trainers got their name for a reason - you should wear them while TRAINING. Not shopping, going to work or going out.

I know, trainers are comfortable and can even be very fashionable but for me their place is in a gym. And the same applies to track suits. I'm happy to snuggle up in my bottoms at home but outside? No, thank you.

So this outfit is my take on sportswear. The dress is a bit like oversized simple jersey top so I added wide belt to create more shape. And those booties although very high heel they have nice platform AND the sole is formed like hiking boots one. So there. I can do sporty too :) Not really.

Go green

I find it quite difficult to wear strong colours on anything else than my bag or shoes. But this dress is an exception to my rule and it goes really well with loads of my accessories. And this is also my nod to this season's  jewel colours trend.

There is couple of things why I fell in love with this dress - the pleats on the skirt, the shape of the dress and those cute little pockets on top. This dress just doesn't need lots of accessories added to make a great outfit.

Ta sukienka przypadla mi do gustu szczegolnie za pare elementow - delikatnie plisowana spodnica, kroj sukienki i te urocze kieszonki na wysokosci biustu. Nie potrzeba tu juz wielu dodatkow aby stworzyc kompletny stroj
